Chair City Oil
Chair City Oil has been serving the Greater
Gardner area since 1949. They are a family owned and operated business that
strives to deliver quality oil at an affordable cost. Chair City
Oil did have a previous website, but they wanted an upgrade; something with a
different look and something with added movement and interest. We were
fortunate enough to not only help Chair City Oil with their website
development, but also with their logo design.
We sat down with owners Dave and Mary Tourigny to discuss what they were looking for in reestablishing their branding. They wanted to have a symbol that would have just as much impact on it's own as it would with the company name written out next to it. Since Dave has a bit of an artistic side, he was able to throw some ideas back and forth with our design team before they arrived at their final decision.
Once the logo design was complete, it was time to begin working on their website. As our design team began working on the website layout, our photographer met with the crew at Chair City Oil and conducted a photo shoot. They shot pictures at their office building and also took some pictures with some of Chair City Oil's customers. In addition to using these images on the website, Chair City Oil has access to these images to use in their marketing materials for years to come.
Their website has a lot of custom work that makes the site unique and attractive. We
created a large image rotator for the home page. In this rotator, the client
decided to have a series of images rotate with corresponding text built in.
When clicked, each image will go to a related page on their site. The bottom of
the home page is divided in to three sections, one is a message from the owner,
one section displays a testimonial, and a third section encourages viewers to
become a user of myCCOIL. This is a system where the customers of Chair City
Oil can login and view their bill, schedule an oil delivery, and access the
most up-to-date oil pricing. Though inConcert did not create this system, Chair
City Oil customers can access it through the website.
More customization includes a photo gallery, a custom accordion style navigation system that expands and contracts, and custom forms. We normally install a standard contact form into our websites, but Chair City Oil needed just a little bit more. In addition to the standard contact fields, on their custom contact form, you can choose which way would be best for them to contact you and you can also specify what you would like them to contact you about by checking all boxes that apply. Next to their contact form you will see a Google Map where you can get directions if needed. In addition to their custom contact form, we've also created an online New myCCOIL Customer Application. Through this online form, they can gather all the necessary information they need in order to approve you to use their myCCOIL system.
Because of the built-in content management system, Chair City Oil can make their own changes to the website at their convenience. They are also on our Web Maintenance Plan which allows them 2 hours a month for us to help them with any website questions, graphic or coding work they need.
